Análise do revestimento de facas picadoras de cana de açúcar depositado pelo processo de soldagem

Abstract

The Brazilian sugar and alcohol sector has developed in recent years, however, the value of the maintenance of the machinery of these industries is of high magnitude and occurs due to the excessive wear of the cutting steel parts, mainly. The present monograph focuses on the study of the application of welding coatings on sugarcane chopping knives, with the monitoring of all the parameters that influence the process, with the aim of accomplishing it with a better state of the art. The base metal used was SAE 1020 steel. Test specimens were constructed to perform tests and analysis in laboratories "in loco" for greater foundation of the present work. The electrode KST EH CR 70 of the company KESTRA was used to perform the weld on the test specimens and the whole process was followed according to the norm, but it was verified through tests of microhardness, folding and testing of penetrating liquid that the weld does not have of the properties presented by the company KESTRA.
