Comportamento materno-filial em maternidade suína em diferentes estações do ano

Abstract

This work aims to evaluate the branch maternal behavior in swine maternity in different seasons. It will be held in an integrated property of BRF, located in Dois Vizinhos - Paraná in the São Cristovão Community. For the study will be used 8 pigs HS race (Sadia's Hibrid) and their litters, assessed by observational study, with 4 repetitions, 4 observations and 2 periods. The evaluations of maternal-filial behavior were collected in a focal form, with the following latencies: latency for the interval between fetal expulsion (LIEF), latency for placental expulsion (LEP), standing latency (LP), (LPM), analyzed statistically through the completely randomized design (DIC) by the unpaired t-test. Significant differences were observed for the periods evaluated only for LIEF and LEP.
