Avaliação de usabilidade com usuários cegos de sistema para acesso a gráficos

Abstract

This study presents an usability evaluation for a system for access of chart by blind people. This system implements the technique of using continuous audio assistance for the transmission of chart information. The participants of the evaluation were people with visual difficulties. The usability evaluation was made by the participants remotely through an online survey. The data was analyzed and grouped according to the answers given by the participants in order to know the main difficulties in using the technique. The results showed a difficulty in the use of the technique, particularly as it relates to the use of the mouse by blind people. This suggests the necessary adjustments to be implemented so that in fact the system fulfills its primary objective: provide access to chart by blind people.
