Resumen
Compressed air is widely used in the industry. Among various applications can highlight the process with production of plastic parts which is the subject of this study. Whereas it is used in the daily affairs of workers from various segments of the industry, it is deemed necessary a survey about the influence of his deliberate use of acoustic comfort in the workplace. In this study several tools that can be used to control the noise caused by compressed air have been addressed. Thus the aim of this study was to analyze the influence of the noise caused by the deliberate use of compressed air on the acoustic comfort in the workplace by identifying the level of ambient noise; proposing improvements to noise reduction and, consequently, achieving reduction rates of diseases caused due to the noise generated. For that information was collected through measurements of noise dosimetry. To the knowledge of the field was applied qualitative and quantitative research through questionnaires answered by industry officials and dosimetry performed on different dates. The results showed that the analyzed environment noise levels exceed the limit established by NR - 15 from the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Implanted the reducer nozzle noise as improvement in the sector and new results showed considerable reduction in noise level. It is concluded that the noise generated by compressed air disrupts the work environment causing discomfort to workers in the industry but with minor improvements implemented as inserting reducing nozzles attenuate the discomfort bringing the noise to regulated standards of tolerance .
