Resumen
This work had as its theme the implementation of a school garden as a teaching tool learning of the discipline of Natural Sciences, with transversality in Environmental Education and Nutrition Education, promoting the cultural dissemination of healthy food, transforming the students into active agents of their cognitive transformation , so that through work in the school garden arouse interest in vegetables and fruits in general, in addition to the inherent teaching of curriculum. In the scope of this proposed field work, we succeeded in inserting the healthy food culture of the students through the implementation of the school garden, bringing students closer to horticulture and its benefits, inherent in healthy life, besides making the process of teaching learning of the nature content of nature more enjoyable to students. The work has reached its aim of promoting the teaching of science, especially the characteristics of the kingdom Plantae, including environmental and nutritional education, transversally.
