Resumen
This work presents an evaluation, in comparison with the attenuation of the vibration amplitude of a beam modeled according to the Euler-Bernoulli theory, applying beam-type passive dynamic vibration absorbers. Therefore, an analysis carried out here was based on the study of the spring-mass system proposed by Rao (2018), and also applying the natural frequency equations. In this sense, a comparison was made between the data obtained via theory with the help of Matlab and the data from the modal and harmful analyzes performed via the finite element method using the Ansys program. In addition, the beam assembly model with the ADV relied on the use of the Rayleigh damping model to visualize the optimal damping. Thus, the results of the application of different ADV's to attenuate the beam vibration were accurate, thus, they managed to attenuate the amplitude in the first natural frequency of the beam under study. The Rayleigh damping method was able to simulate the optimal damping effect on the structure, as well as the vibration amplitude at the two natural frequencies of the assembly.
