Resumen
This job analyzed the costs involved in defining and choosing a medium voltage (MV) distribution network for the construction of a new wind farm called Ventania. It also includes the technical issues involved in the design of aerial and underground networks and the characteristics of each one. From the sizing of the network, the materials and services were defined and a price survey was done, reaching a value per km of each type of network. All this analysis is necessary due to the expansion of wind energy in the country, the growth of competition and consequently the need to optimize facilities and reduce costs, with the increase in generation. Despite the network represent a low cost compared to the total value of the project, the impact of network failure and inability to distribute the energy can be a great reason to invest more time and money in MV networks. The results of analysis showed that the cost to construction the underground network is higher than construction the aerial network and the importance of the correct dimensioning of the conductors.
