Resumen
This study aimed to describe the experience of preparing the primer on best practices for food handlers, with field research conducted in the city of Supermarket Arapoti / Pr. With the participation of officials. From the visits, were used to raise issues related to sanitary hygienic practices. Based on Freirean philosophy, meetings were held with food handlers, following a script working to build the playbook. The booklet of best practices is a descriptive guidance on hygiene practices, developed for employees who work in Supermarket involving all basic prerequisites for perfect food production, thereby raising their quality and protecting the health of consumers.
