Correlação de fatores hidrossedimentológicos e reflectância do Lago Igapó 1 em Londrina/PR

Abstract

The lake Igapó 1 in Londrina has been receiving in the past years sediment and pollutants load from the urbanization on Ribeirão Cambé watershed. This fact can cause the silting of the lake over time and the deterioration of the water quality. So, it’s of great importance to monitor the hydric quality in this place in a constant and continuous way. In this contexct, the remote sensing presented itself as a great tool for the monitoring and study of several water bodies. This research has as its objective utilizing the images from Landsat 8 associated with remote sensing techniques to obtain the reflectance generated by Lake Igapó 1 on 5 points and correlate this data with the turbidity, color, total solids and conductivity. For this 3 samplings have been done in 3 different days and after, atmospheric correction methods were used with the available reflectance data. The correlation of these variables and the reflectance data were analyzed to enable the monitoring of the water quality lake Igapo 1 by remote sensing.
