Resumen
With the presence of cellular phones in the classroom and the need for education to meet the specificities of education in the EJA modality, it was necessary to carry out this research. The objective of this work is to analyze the potentialities of the use of mobile technologies in the view of learners. To develop this research collected data with 42 students enrolled in the EJA in the Municipal School of Basic Education Aroldo de Azevedo, in modules 3B, 4A 4B. The issues addressed issues related to the presence of cell phones in the students' lives and the view of these as the insertion of these technologies in the schooling process. The data showed the importance of the cell phones in the students' daily life, being through it the first contact with the internet for many students. Regarding the use of mobile phones in the educational process, a positive evaluation was observed by the students, and the possible use perceived a superficial vision focused only on research and access to information. It is essential to reflect on the use of mobile phones in the educational process, taking advantage of students' positive views on this process. Activities undertaken in any way may develop resistance from students to use. It is necessary to develop work reflecting in everyday use practices to assist teachers in this process.
