Resumen
In this work, we propose the study of a plant which consists of two industrial process : control of liquid level and temperature systems. One based on classic control and the other on modern control: two different techniques for level system control with intention of comparison were applied. For the system temperature, only one technique of classical control was implemented from its open-loop system. And besides, there was a test in closed-loop temperature control for the entire system, where the liquid reservoir level was kept constant and enough to not damage the heater. The plant comprises an acrylic reservoir with two container and a pump DC. These processes are monitored and controlled automatically using a interface Plant / Arduino Microcontroller / Matlab. The objective of this work is to apply identifying procedures , modeling and controlling both systems. Thus from the data acquisition using the interface, are implemented the identified models and then strategies control for each type of system. Is presented a discussion of the performance of classical control and modern control based on the results obtained. Although it was possible to make the control of systems with the proposed methodology, more tests need to be conducted to further improve the performance of the solution.
