Resumen
Due to the great importance of antioxidants for the human health, this research aims to collect data of potential antioxidants from seven native fruits from the Atlantic Forest in Paraná State, through the DPPH methods and beta-caroteno/linoleic acid, besides quantification of total phenolic, flavonoids, anthocyanins and evaluation of antibacterial activity from ethanol extracts of the fruit. The result confirms that the evaluated fruits have a wide variation in the content of total phenolics, flavonoids, anthocyanins and are a natural source of antioxidants, have great potential for agro-processing, being that Jabuticaba and Uvaia have presented the highest values. Only the ethanol extract from the Jabuticaba has showed a mild inhibitory effect against Klebsiella pneumoniae.
