Resumen
Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the main crops produced in Brazil, being extremely important for the Brazilian economy. Used worldwide for various purposes, the main one being its consumption by humans and animals. The fungus C. dematium var. truncata fungus that causes anthracnose in soybean, one of the main diseases that affect the crop that occurs from the initial stage to the formation of pods and is transmitted via seed under ideal conditions and can cause high yield losses. The experiment aimed to analyze the antifungal effect of some essential oils. The analyzes were carried out in the Phytopathology laboratories of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Dois Vizinhos campus. Initially, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) test was performed to analyze the inhibitory effect of inhibition of the essential oils Guaçatonga (Casearia sylvestris), Sweet orange (Citrus aurantium dulcis), Litsea (Litsea cubeba), Pitanga (Eugenia uniflora), Sandalwood (Santalum album L.) the compound D-limonene. And then the minimum fungicidal concentration test (MFC) was performed. With the analysis we can observe that all essential oils obtained an antifungal effect at some concentration, especially the essential oil of Pitanga (Eugenia uniflora) which presented results statistically equal to the control and showed a fungicidal effect.
