Volatile compounds BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene) present in gasoline, are highly toxic, causing damage to health, to regulate these compounds, which are found in gasoline are environmental laws governed by CONAMA Resolution 420, which regulates the gas fuels. To make the chromatographic analyzes for the identification and quantification of BTX was used to EPA Method 8260B. The liquid-liquid microextraction with the bottle of Murray was applied for extraction of BTX contaminated aqueous samples using hexane as a solvent extractor and analyzed by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Analysis were made of the composite sample collected at the end of the treatment the effluent from the post and passing through a treatment process, the other was collected untreated ramps washing, a mixture was also made of BTX. After pre-concentration of the samples analyzed in GC/MS, which showed characteristic peaks of the compounds toluene, m, p, o-xylenes. The extraction method was efficient but the analysis was qualitative, but showed that the treated sample shows toluene, m-xylene, and one should optimize the extraction method and chromatographic method to obtain more reliable results.
