dc.description.abstractTomatoes are highlighted in the production of organic vegetables, but for its cultivation is checked absence of information on appropriate cultivars with good production performance in the organic system. The objective was to evaluate the performance of tomato cultivars under organic production system. The experiment was conducted in the municipality of Verê, Paraná, in the agroecological property of the Cagnini family, Izolete and Décio Cagnini, from September / 2015 to January /2016. The experiment consisted of fourteen treatments and tomato cultivars, under the design of randomized blocks with four replications. The yield components were obtained by evaluating: production and total quantity and commercial fruit, average weight and average diameter of marketable fruits. The assessment of physicochemical quality was performed by evaluating: firmness, pH, color, total soluble solids (SST), total titratable acidity (ATT) and SST / ATT. Data were submitted to analysis of variance and mean comparison by Scott & Knott test (p <0,05). Cultivar Netuno® showed higher commercial fruit production. The Monalisa® and Portinari® cultivars, had lower performance for the evaluated production variables.
