Estudo sobre redes de comunicação para automação industrial

Abstract

Based on the state of the practice of Industrial Communication Networks, this work presents a review about them, their main characteristics and applications. Seeking to present the necessary information for those looking for the implementation of industrial networks. In the first part are detailed the general characteristics of the networks, their specifications and physical and functional characteristics. In the second, the classification of the networks, the protocols most used in the market and their functionalities are presented. Next, the systems for information management, PIMS - Plant Information Management System and MES - Manufacturing Execution system, and finally SCADA - Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition are presented.
