Sobre as funções do design gráfico: design como experiência

Abstract

This paper proposes an investigation into the boundaries of design. Considering the bibliography of Technology course in Graphic Design from the Federal Technological University of Paraná, especially of raw project. This proposal was carried from reading the basic bibliography of materials projetuais course then external authors of this bibliography were added to the dialogue so that there was a counter- -position. One goal of the study was to find a way to align the most comprehensive and current understandings about what is, or what may prove to be, graphic design. A second objective was to analyze the daily practice of a graphic design office from the premises from the first discussion. Through these analyzes the theory and practice of graphic design were placed in parallel, epistemologically revisiting and enriching the study of the discipline.
