Resumen
The evaluation of properties arose from the need to assign the market value of a property, and Evaluation Engineering is the discipline dedicated to the analysis and determination of the same, through normative methods and software. It is noticed that some criteria and factors are not considered in these analyzes, but they can be significant in the formation of value. Thus, the present study have to evaluate the influence of the measurement of the ceiling height on the value of a property using the Statistical Inference Method, combined with other variables used for the development of the mathematical model. The methodology was carried out using NBR 14653 of the Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas as the normative reference and the INFER 32 and TS Sisreg software were used in the formation of statistical models. We proceeded with the regression analysis of the models, verifying the model with more satisfactory representative parameters and, finally, the results were analyzed, and it was concluded that the measure of the ceiling height is not sufficiently impacting in the formation of the market value of a property when compared to the other variables of the analysis, however the increase in its size contributes to the property’s valuation when analyzed in isolation.
