Resumen
The maintenance function plays a fundamental role in industrial management, as it directly affects the company's finances, both in profit and expenses. Be it a large company, medium or small, when it comes to preventive and predictive maintenance deployments, when it comes to expenses, but it is the type of visa maintenance strategy for reducing and / or changing failures that interrupts the operation or they use the operational performance of the assets, make a direct contribution to the availability and use of the equipment and consequently reduce costs. Air compressors within a food industry act as a vital way for the functioning of industrial assets, allowing an economic maintenance policy for these assets, with quality of availability and operational use. An inadequate maintenance policy for industrial compressors, especially when used in the production of food, severe damage to the compressor and production lines, directly affecting the quality of the product and the quality of the final product. This work aims at the application of two multicriteria decision-making methods (MCDM): complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) and preference classification organization method for enrichment assessment (PROMETHEE). For priority preventive and predictive maintenance activities, promoting an adequate maintenance policy for industrial air compressors and applying in dairy processes, aiming to guarantee the reliability and availability of these assets with the personal safety of employees and the environment.
