Análise das causas de atrasos em obras na etapa de execução: estudo de caso de uma construtora em Curitiba/PR

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to verify the causes of delays in construction works in the execution stage, and to define their frequency and their degree of impact in the progress of the buildings. The method used was the perform of interviews with constructions foremen and engineers of a large construction company in the city of Curitiba/PR, through which it was found that the delays were associated with contract and project failures, classified as non-excusable delays. Both represent respectively 30,7% and 29,9% of the ten most frequent causes in the buildings. According to the study, the project also answers for 29,2% of the ten causes with the greatest impact on the progress of the buildings, followed by materials, with 21,1%, planning, with 20,3%, and construction owner, with 19,6%.
