Abstract

Currently, companies have invested in improvements in working conditions in order to provide a safe environment for its employees. Based on reports on incidents in staircases have occurred in the treatment of a sugar plant stock, which were raised by CIPA (internal Commission for prevention of accidents), it was suggested the preparation of a project aimed at the deployment of a freight elevator in order to perform the carriage of tools and parts, avoiding the handling of same by the developers of the maintenance industry and operators between the floors , which will minimize the ergonomic risks and possible falls during the journey. For the implementation of this project were used various technical requirements and regulatory standards relating to the subject and some equipment manufacturers catalogs.
