Growth in the construction industry increased the exploitation of labor due to the need of production. For years the workers were considered as professionals with no qualifications and low level of education, since they used to work with no structure and poor conditions to perform their work. Faced with it, some incentive and benefit programs were created to meet the needs, including the PAT - Programa de Alimentação do Trabalhador, established by the law n. 6,321, of Abril, 14th, 1976, and regulated by decree nº 5, of January, 14th, 1991. It was created to serve the worker and aim better nutritional conditions, by reason of they are most low-income people. This study aims to verify the level of employee perception about the importance of quality of food supply in construction sites. A total of 100 employees were interviewed to measure this percepction, using as a tool for data collection a thirteen- question survey, related to gender, age, education, work experience in the field and relevant issues to check the perception. Performing the satisfation research, the perception of the workers about the quality of food supply was evident, as 99% of them agreed on the importance of nutrition, and 56% of them gave a full conviction score of 10, when asked to evaluate the importance to be offered food supply to the worker, in a scale from 0 to 10.
