This study aimed to verify the key drivers of truancy. Observing students of elementary school final year, students and high school is perceived a high dropout rate in schools by these students, so making it relevant to research on the subject. By observing several cases of abandonment, transfers aimlessly, often this means abandoning a breakup with the full studies, because most do not return to school. Currently, truancy is constituted as a problem that grows increasingly, mainly affecting public institutions. Can be seen that the highest dropout rate is related to the needs of young people working to help the family income, so that increases each time the number of teenagers leaving the classrooms. After analyzing the data collected, it was observed that some students really have some difficulty staying in the classroom and this happens for several reasons, such as methodology that does not appeal, or, does not arouse curiosity in students, staff dissatisfaction, and or with the way the institution conducts some directions, lack of encouragement from parents and even some teachers, it can be noticed that some students drop out of school to work, since they need to help the family pay the costs. You can also see that families need to be made aware about the importance of the study to the children. Thus, there is no doubt that the environment in which the student lives is the family, caring for her, probably will allocate benefits to the educational issue. It is noteworthy that the teaching is and always will be one of the major builders of educational issue.
