This paper presents the study, analysis and reproduction of a DC-DC converter used in an online UPS with sinusoidal output, operating at high frequency. The converter is responsible for feeding an inverter in the absence of electricity from the distribution grids. First will be present the theoretical study about static converters, the main applications of the use of UPS's, technical features and methodologies for the design and construction. The converter studied is the double forward, operating as push-pull and has a power of 1.2 kVA, whose removes energy of a battery bank, raising the voltage to an inverter with sinusoidal output. Will analyze your response in open loop, closed loop and empirically your dynamic behavior. The project obtained well results in realized tests and can be used as a teaching module for studies of power electronics and control.
