Resumen
This work was developed to study a bidirectional Cúk topology using four switches and its application on connecting a battery bank to a DC microgrid. The area of study of microgrids has been rich in works and evolutions of topologies. This work consists of the theoretical analysis, design, numerical simulation and experimental data acquisition through the assembly of a prototype of the proposed converter. At the end, this converter presented satisfactory results for the conditions and specifications in which it was exposed with a maximum efficiency of 95.7%. The design specifications are as follows: 250 V input voltage, 360 V output voltage, 1000 W output power and 20 kHz switching frequency.
