Determinação de trocador de calor para resfriar o óleo lubrificante de motor automotivo a diesel de 3 cilindros utilizando o fluido de arrefecimento

Abstract

During the cooling and lubrication systems validation tests of a three-cylinder diesel engine used in low power tractors, it was found that the lubricating oil is warming beyond acceptable limit temperature. At the same time, the coolant temperature is significantly below the maximum allowed. In order to solve this problem, tests were conducted to acquire the data from the system. It was installed a four plates heat exchanger between the lubrication oil and cooling fluid and then a test was carried out to acquire data from the system. With these data it was possible the sizing of an heat exchanger that met the specifications required of the maximum temperature.
