Resumen
This monograph has the purpose of presenting the study applied to the reduction of electric power consumption in high power motors of exhaust fans of environmental control system, the known sleeves filters, which has the function of capturing metallic fumes in productive processes that, by chance may cause fugitive emissions. The study is aimed at replacing the rotors of low-efficiency exhaust fans that generate high energy consumption in the Reverse Air Sleeves Filter, which has the function of extracting the metal fumes in the conversion of the pig iron to the converters of the ArcelorMittal Tubarão steelworks, for rotors of high performance and efficiency, combined with low energy.
