Resumen
Environmental issues are being discussed today because of the need for change in relation to environmental degradation. Education in this sense should be emphasized as key to the transformation of societies, enabling the development of a new ethics, other than that guides a consumer society. Environmental education should be worked in an integrated, continuous and permanent at all levels and types of education, as prescribed in the National Curriculum which serve as grants for educational practice. Knowing that issues related to the environment, covering environmental education, selective garbage collection, water, biodiversity, riparian forest, among others are problems that directly affect all social and environmental issues was developed a project in a school teaching municipal network of the municipality of Mediatrix - PR, in order to clarify such issues through education. Getting positive results following the completion of the work with students of 4threatscan school unit of that series.
