Comercialização e logística da floricultura no sudoeste do Paraná

Abstract

Floriculture is a sector carefully organized to be effective in serving its customers throughout Brazil, for this and other reasons is the fastest growing segment of agriculture annually. So, to get to know a little more about this complex system of commercialization in the southwest region of Paraná, we conducted interviews with the flower merchants of these municipalities, in order to know the profile of the business community and the organization of this sector; In addition to the structuring of the marketing and distribution chain, job creation, and difficulties encountered in the activity. The results we found are surprising and enlightening, as there are not many studies on this topic in this locality. Billing is seasonal in most companies, perishability of plants is the biggest problem faced by florists, in this region of the state predominate micro and small companies, among other results.
