Resumen
This study aimed to investigate how the board game “Encrypted Mathematical Trail” applied to students of the 1st year of high school, from a State College of the northern region of Paraná, can contribute to the learning of the polynomial functions of the 1st and 2nd degree. The research had a qualitative approach, the data were obtained through students written records, and also audio and image recordings. The theoretical basis of Bloom's taxonomy was used in the analytical organization of these data. Interpretation of the results is based on the Vygotskyan framework. When comparing the results of the pre-game task, which consisted of verifying the level of the students' real development in relation to the contents of polynomial functions of the 1st and 2nd degree, with the result of the post-game task, an advance was noticed. in the learning and development processes of the participants of this research. As a result, gambling as a knowledge mediator created a situation that provided students with a proximal development zone, allowing them to verify their level of potential development, that is, their ability to perform tasks with the help of their peers. Besides emphasizing the affective and emotional development, due to its playful aspect, which helped in the taste for learning and the pursuit of knowledge. The results show that this game allowed the learning of the polynomial functions of the 1st and 2nd degree, allowing the interaction of the students through the mediated act; in addition, contributed to the formation of social attitudes, besides providing a pleasant environment and Attractive for math learning.
