Resumen
The demand for healthy foods has increased the development of alternative forms of food production. Soybean is significantly produced most in the conventional agricultural model, but it has been produced in organic agriculture model. In organic soybean production, one of the challenges is the control of insect pests that can cause various problems to the plant, and highlight the brown stink bug Euschistus heros (F.) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). One way to perform a control of these insects is the use of biological agents and substances such as plant extracts, which have potential for the control of insect pests. The objective of this study was to evaluate plant species with potential insecticide on different stages of E. heros in laboratory. Therefore, extracts application experiments were performed hydroalcoholic plant species Annona coriacea, Eugenia uniflora and pine at a concentration of 10%, on eggs and nymphs of 3rd instar . As a control it was applied Distilled Water and Alcohol (Etanol). To evaluate the ovicidal effect, with an air compressor, the extracts were sprayed in volume of 300 uL on masses of 20 eggs at 24 hours of age (repeat), with six replicates. In insecticide experiment, 20 insects per replicate were used that followed the same amount and form of application described in ovicidal experiment. Evaluations were performed daily for 15 days by quantifying the number of dead insects and hatched insects. None of the extracts presented ovicidal effect and significant insecticide compared to the control.
