Resumen
This study aimed to evaluate the influence of the field class in the teaching and learning of students in the 6th grade of elementary school process. The practice classes took place at the State Park of Serra do Mar, protected area of Atlantic Forest in the municipality of Caraguatatuba - SP. It was applied questionnaires before and after class field with open questions about characteristics of the ecosystem and its fauna and flora and matter of opinion concerning the time of classroom. The responses of the two questionnaires were compared using the Student t test comparing average. The results show that the class of the field positively influenced learning, improving 92% in student test scores on the questionnaire after class field compared with the scores obtained before class field. And the t-test statistically confirmed this result, showing that the class of the field contributes to the teaching-learning process.
