Desenvolvendo a segurança comportamental no âmbito industrial

Abstract

The potential contribution of behavioral safety to business management in general has been recognized. However, the realization of this potential has been problematic. In this context, the objective of this work is to present in a summarized way means of preparation, organization, implementation and maintenance of a behavioral safety system in the industrial scope of a large brewery located in the industrial area of the city of Ponta Grossa, in the State of Paraná , based on current national legislation and national and international methodologies in the field of Occupational Safety. The methodological approach consisted of an exploratory, quantitative and qualitative research, also composed by a review of the literature. Through this work we can analyze the results of two surveys aimed at the behavior of leaders and subordinates, and it is possible to base a solid action plan for industries of similar size and branches that aim to develop their culture with a focus on behavioral safety.
