dc.description.abstractThis work had as its theme, the study on the inclusion of down syndrome, that in public schools: the boundary between socialization and learning. The main reason for inclusion is to demonstrate that all people are equally important members in a community and that diversity and difference enrich the school environment, enabling new learning, and the teacher is continuously challenged from the implementation of the inclusion model. Therefore, it is necessary for the teacher to sensitize and aware of the need for inclusion, your continuing education enables situations of analysis and reflection about their own working conditions and creates new possibilities for mediation. Thus, this work was carried out through a literature search in order to study and understand what is the down syndrome, which is as importance of including students with down syndrome in mainstream and still understand how the training is essential teacher in this context.
