Resumen
Currently various technologies are employed in the work for topographic settings planialtimetrics coordinates. The use of these technologies provides the professional saving time and financial resources, facilities in field operations, automating operations lengthy, expensive and not always reached the desired quality. In this sense, the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System - Global navigation satellites), is increasingly facilitating the processes for obtaining coordinates, which can be used for mapping, measuring areas and altimetry terrain. Care should be taken to collect the data, especially in areas with denser vegetation cover, where there is disruption of signals causing their degradation. Its use together with other equipment such as total stations, facilitate field services, obtaining reliable data for map production. To implement this work we evaluate the coordinates obtained in three areas with
different vegetation covers: the open area, Pinus spp. and Eucalyptus spp. and semideciduous forest, being carried out data collection with the use of GNSS receiver at different heights, comparing these results with data obtained from transport coordinates using total station. It was observed that in forest surveys where there is coverage there were variations in the values of the coordinates obtained from the GNSS receiver coordinates transported compared with the total station. Also observed improvement in positional quality when the receiver antenna GNSS was high inside semideciduous forest. For coordinates collected inside the planting Pinus spp. and Eucalyptus spp. there was no improvement in the quality of the coordinates, when there was the elevation of the antenna, mainly due to wind action extendable baton used during the survey.
