Estudo de caso: recuperação da área da jazida em Castro Alves, BA

Abstract

This paper refers to a case study with establishing measures for the recovery of degraded areas of the Pool area Great Low abandoned after use of mineral resource cuttings , which served as a lending area for the improvement of the road BR -242 . ‘s Area study equivalent to 286,096.28 m² or 28.61 ha, currently in erosion, is located 3.7 km from the town of Castro Alves, Bahia, near the stream Jaguaribe. The methodology is a survey of the site and physiographic features and references to specific sites. Its relevance is justified by the fact that it will be presenting sustainable alternative recovery of part of the area planted with native vegetation and revitalizes other party deployment motocross track to meet City expectations with respect to income generation in order to insert the municipality of Castro Alves into the calendar of sporting events in the state of Bahia.
