The objective of the present work was to evaluate the productive aspects of the silage of corn hybrids cultivated at different sowing times and densities. The experimental design used was that of randomized blocks, with the treatments in factorial arrangement (three hybrids and four population densities) in the main and off-season with four replications of area in each agricultural year. The population densities evaluated were 60,000, 80,000, 100,000 and 120,000 plants ha-1. The hybrids used were B2688, B2433 and B2410. The first sowing was carried out on October 9, 2019 (main harvest) and the second sowing on February 19, 2020 (off-season), through the no-till system. The basic fertilization consisted of 670 kg ha-1 of NPK fertilizer in the formulation 5-25-15 and the cover fertilization was carried out with 140 kg ha-1 of N, divided into two applications in haul (V4 and V8). Field evaluations of initial and final plant stand, stem diameter, ear insertion height, plant height, forage production, morphological separation (leaf, stem, cob, ear straw), yield components (weight grain, row by ear, grain by row and grain by ear). Dry matter evaluations were carried out after 60 days of the ensiled material. The increase in the plant population from 60 to 120 thousand plants ha-1 increased the silage production from 16.53 tonnes to 22.39 tonnes of dry matter ha-1. The hybrid B2433 obtained higher production of dry matter. The silage production in the harvest period was higher compared to the off-season.
