Resumen
Phosphorus is one of the crucial elements for agriculture, since it is indispensable for the development of plants. Due to its scarce reserves and complex soil dynamics, it has been increasingly studied. The soils of the Pato Branco region are formed by the weathering of the basic rock, presenting in its mineralogy large amounts of Fe and Al oxides and low OM content, while the soils of the Palmas region are formed by the weathering of the silica rock, presenting low amounts of Fe and Al oxides and high OM contents. The objective of this work was to analyze the vertical movement of phosphorus from three different fertilizers, being simple superphosphate, thermophosphate and natural phosphorus yoorim, in soils developed from basalts and rhyolites with different organic matter contents. The experiment was conducted in a laboratory located at UTFPR - Campus Pato Branco. In general, the results showed that in rhodium soils the phosphate fertilizers had a better performance possibly due to the higher OM content and lower amounts of Fe and Al oxides.
