Resumen
At a time in which the agricultural sector is witnessing technological expansion, automated systems directed towards small-scale producers need to be developed. These systems should aim at guaranteeing the quality of the crop in the simplest and most efficient manner, as well as maintaining low-cost implementation, in order to maintain the producer’s competitivity on the market. This project aims to present an automated solution for the control of an irrigation system on small farms. The result of the project will be the development of a micro controlled sprinkler operated through a system of supervision and control that can be accessed from devices equipped with wireless technology. The system takes into account the temperature and humidity to calculate the volume to be irrigated, as well as controlling the reservoir level automatically.
