Resumen
The teaching of botany is essential for recognizing the importance of plants. It is important that this area of knowledge be well crafted to stimulate student interest and respect for nature. However, many teachers are unable to work well on the content of botany that presents some complexity, and the classes are mostly expository and do not relate the content applied to the student's daily life. Given this situation, it is considered important to elaborate materials that focus on practices to help teaching and instigate the construction of student knowledge. This work aimed to develop an application based on the use of QR Code to teach science focused on botany using the Conservation Unit, Flona de Piraí do Sul, as a non-formal teaching environment and together the principles of the proposed tour class. by Freinet. Field trips were carried out to recognize the area, acquire information, images and elaborate the application content, using the Nascente Trail as a script. The app was developed through App Inventor 2 and the preparation and organization of information was inspired by the principles of Freinet and the ride class. In addition to the teaching of botany, information on Nature Conservation and Environmental Education, among other Science contents worked in elementary school, was included in the application. In this way, users can retrieve knowledge worked in the classroom while taking a field trip, equipped with digital technology.
