Resumen
The inspection activity, developed by the Defense and Animal Protection Network (RDPA) of the Municipality of Curitiba, addresses citizen complaints, solving problems aimed at the safety of citizens and animals. The objectives of this study were to detect the occupational risks (physical, chemical, biological and accident), to carry out the preliminary analysis of these risks, besides identifying the main zoonoses in the routine of the RDPA. Initially, interviews were conducted with two RDPA servers, in which they reported eight situations that occurred during the field activities in the surveillance actions, which served the case studies. As a result, it was observed that the servers were exposed to different risks Occupational zoonoses, such as rabies, leptospirosis, pneumonia, occupational hazards is chemical site dust, the chemical is the contamination of microorganisms that can transmit rabies, leptospirosis, pneumonia among others and both are treated using masks , since they are considered of relevant level. The physical risks are ambient temperature, which is considered a trivial risk, and it is not necessary to use personal protective equipment. Regarding the risks of accidents, the sting of venomous animals is one of the main ones, being necessary the use of boots to mitigate the risk of stings and the risks of cuts where the use of gloves can be fundamental to avoid accidents. Thus, the use of personal protective equipment, such as those mentioned above are fundamental to minimize accidents related to activities developed during working hours.
