dc.description.abstractThis work was developed in a poultry slaughterhouse in the city of Carambeí, Paraná, and it is the practical application of the PDCA method to reduce the impacts on the yield of the process caused specifically by wing bruises in griller broilers. During the development of the method, other management tools such as brainstorm, benchmark and 5W2H adapted to the reality of the industry in question were also used. The result was the determination of all the ideal process parameters that a poultry slaughterhouse must follow to avoid as much as possible the wing bruising caused at the factory.
