Gestão de recursos e a importância do orçamento participativo no município de Imbaú-PR

Abstract

The following monograph has a objective the approach about the running of a modelo of democratic management called Participatory Budgeting. Was initially presented a brief history about the popular participation in the country and the demonstration of the running of the Participatory Budgeting in general, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Then was performed a documentary research about the municipality of Santo André, Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte which have deployed this tool and achieved a great success, like infrastructure improvements in deprived areas, in public transport and investments focused on health area and education, besides the reduction of corruption. In the following, based on the results reached with the research, its given a suggestion of the implantation of it the municipality of Imbaú/PR.
