Síntese do isopropóxido de alumínio a partir de folhas de alumínio comerciais

Abstract

It presents the synthesis of an aluminum alkoxide, aluminum isopropoxide, taking as a starting material a mixture of commercial sheets of aluminum, new and used sheets. In this study the illustration of the mechanism of the synthesis reaction of aluminum isopropoxide was proposed. The ways to characterize the substance through infrared spectrometry on different types of sample holder was studied. It brings caught as a result of the instrumental analysis and some independent observations of these methods about the characteristic of the substance.
