dc.description.abstractThe Constructivist theory of learning, proposed by Seymour Papert considers important the contact with technological resources that enable students to solve problems through practical and real situations. Students use the concepts of curriculum subjects for the development of tasks, exploiting the knowledge gained in the classroom and applying it with complementary activities in the laboratory. This research reports the use of robotics as a tool to increase motivation, creativity and interdisciplinary thinking. To exercise these powers in this particular context, students experience the concepts learned from different disciplines, with the freedom to explore alternatives for each task. These activities are developed guiding the class to solve a series of possible actions, making the practices developed in the robotics lab represent important tools for student learning. The project is implemented in the course of subsequent technical informatics. One goal of this research is to define and document a series of activities and assignments, forming the backbone of a practical approach. Research has shown that the robotic use allows practical and interdisciplinary work, facilitating student learning.
