Resumen
The use of digital media is a reality in all social media, and should not be different in education. This paper presents a study regarding the use of technology to assist in statistical content, since such content is superficially addressed in the school curriculum. To modify and favor learning, the RStudio software was used. The aim of this paper is to understand the effect of RStudio software applied to statistical content and to analyze the acceptance of the program by students. The research involved 14 elementary school students from a private school in Londrina. The methodology adopted was qualitative and had a bibliographic research and a field research carried out within the school, object of study. The results indicate that the technologies can
assist the students' teaching and learning process regarding the concepts of Statistics, allowing the manipulation of the data and the calculations to be facilitated. In conclusion, the results obtained showed that the use of the software provided significant improvements in student learning. However, they also point to the need for a greater number of researches that address the theme, especially regarding teacher education.
