Abstract

The present paper pretend a brief historical, sociological and cultural approaching about the aspects related to Europe’s fashion consolidation, its configuration now a days and also its power of influence over the whole world. It presents concepts and particularities which feature European fashion and also its description as elegant fashion. The present paper exposes perspectives about the origins of Brazilian fashion and its form today as well. Besides, it shows Brazilian women’s characteristics and their behavior of fashion consumption. Finally, it integrates the concepts that allude to European and Brazilian fashion, in order to provide the creation of a collection that synthesizes aspects of elegance and sensuality in fashion for Brazilian woman.
