Gestão de materiais em uma empresa do ramo de materiais de construção de Medianeira - PR

Abstract

This work aimed to improve inventory management in a company in branch of building materials in Medianeira - PR. The study on inventory management or materials management, it is very important for most companies because inventories are fundamental to the proper functioning of organizations, allowing there is the balance between the various stages of their production process and their departments. This type of study in the specified sector becomes even more relevant with the market growth finding. For this study, the materials that have the greatest turning the company's sales were initially identified. Then we got up all relevant data in relation to stocks of these same items so that the necessary calculations could be made. So, it was determined the minimum and maximum stock and the reorder point for these specific products. Subsequently, the costs of application and storage were calculated, being possible obtained, the total cost with the storage of these materials. Based on these results it was possible to calculate the economic purchase lot for each item, and consider what the best alternative actions that the company has to reduce their storage costs.
