Resumen
This research had as its main theme the importance of updating didactic teaching methodologies, with the objective of approaching the school space to the new technic and scientifical reality lived by its former students. With that purpose, the importance of the usage of technological resources as didactic instruments in the geography classes of middle school’s last year has been evaluated. These resources, not as distant from the students’ day today life, are still not a part of the academic routine lived by most schools, especially public ones. The chosen methodology is that of qualitative research, whose purpose is to investigate, exploring of the students’ opinion through the application of quizzes, the relevance of employing technical resources in geography classes. With objective questions, the quiz allowed the evaluation of the research subjects’ expectations on the theme, being complemented by a documental analysis of other studies of similar analytical tone, with the intent of confronting the obtained results. The objective of such research was to expand the comprehension of how students of this segment evaluate the usage of digital technology as a helping element in the absorption of this discipline’s contents, as well as the interest in a more modern and contextualized teaching method.
