Resumen
This study presents the development of a system for remote monitoring of the system and validation of an electronic control unit (ECU). The objective of using this tool is to provide the System Testing and Validation Department from ZF Friedrichshafen AG remote monitoring of the setups during the test validation of the ECUs. The assembled setups use hardware produced by Vector that will be set in standalone mode and communicate to the monitoring system using the FDX (Fast Data Exchange) protocol. The user will not need to go to the laboratory where the test is running for checking the current status; instead, the final user will be able to visualize a basic report with basic information about the setup, such as Central Processing Unit (CPU) temperature, Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) temperature, current and voltage consumption, and timestamp of the last measurement and also generate a full report about Ethernet ping errors, CAN (Controller Area Network) error, camera status, and error. The system will have 24 hours of logging stored in the database and will send an e-mail to the team responsible for alerting if something is not going as planned with test parameters.
